SM Turns Two - The Presents

Ahoy!  Look at my booty!  Let's make like Marc Summers and Unwrap!
When it comes to presents, I become super strong...
Whoops!  Something for my dad got mixed up in my stuff!
I made out like a bandit!  Or is it a smokey?  Whatever - I made out like Burt Reynolds before he shaved his mustache!
Here's a couple videos as evidence of my language capabilities.  Two weeks with Rosetta stone and I have this English thing down pat...

Good!

Happy Birthday SM (Foodie Edition)

Happy Birthday SM!  You turned two and you are too cute.  Her morning started with the always famous "2"-shaped pancakes...
Lunch was eggplant parmigiana at her behest.  Only fresh mozzarella please!
Dinner was pizza with her friend C.  We asked the kids to smile for this picture and this is what we got...Thanks M.
Dessert was cupcakes.  Chocolate cupcakes.  Flowery chocolate cupcakes!
Second birthdays are great because you know how to talk.  Or at least SM does!
Next time is the presents!

MLK Weekend in Denver

Often times when we look at our January picture folder it looks quite empty.  After our annual holiday travel, we often say - let's never travel again!  Well, this year we decided to hit the road in the first month of the year.  It was downhill to Denver - oh boy!
Heavy D and SM spent some quality time together...
Uncle B and my dad spent a good deal of time lighting a fire...
Aunt K took us to an indoor water park pool!
SM was not afraid of H20 this time...
On our way back we visited Garden of the Gods.  Look it's White Rock!
Thanks for hosting us Aunt K and Uncle B!

Other Holiday Adventures...

Before we move on to January (blog-time is really quite a bit slower than real-time), here are some other fun pictures from our holiday travels.  SM opening her beloved dream-light (sleep-tight)!
JC helping Heavy D open a gift...
Annual visit to Charles Edward Cheese's Fine Pizza Establishment...
Roller boards in the gymnasium...
A visit to dad's old MSE department...
A chance to sit in the same desks dad sat in for a predominant majority of his classes...
This picture sums up our holiday trip.  Why?  Because there is just so much going on in this picture...
Hand check!
